Welcome to Calree! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Calree mobile application and website (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Calree (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

1. Use of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your device. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

2. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account.

3. Health Disclaimer

The Service provides calorie and nutrition tracking for informational purposes only. It is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition or diet.

• Calorie and nutrition estimates are approximations and may not be 100% accurate
• The AI food recognition feature is for convenience and may occasionally misidentify foods
• We recommend verifying nutritional information for accuracy

4. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Calree and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service, including food photos and meal logs. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and process such content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

6. Subscriptions

Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis. You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis. Billing cycles are set on a monthly or annual basis.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
• Refunds are handled according to the policies of the App Store or Google Play

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service:

• For any unlawful purpose or to violate any laws
• To harass, abuse, or harm another person
• To impersonate any person or entity
• To interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• To attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service

In no event shall Calree, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
